Virginia Juniors

The Virginia Junior Holstein Association is a group of active, young Holstein enthusiasts that conduct a variety of activities for the junior members of Virginia.  Activities include fundraising, meetings and contest.

2009 Junior Annual Meeting

Juniors now is the time to be planning on attending your annual membership meeting being held in Richmond Va on December 12th the Richmond Marriott Hotel.  This is also the site for the 2011 National Holstein convention that will be hosted by Virginia. 
Activities planned include the Junior Public Speaking contest, Annual Junior Business meeting with the election of the 2010 Board of Directors and officers and Jeopardy contest.

Barbara Clary awarded Honorary Junior Membership

The highest honor that the Virginia Juniors awards to an individual is their Honorary Junior member to recognize someone that has shown outstanding support for the Juniors and their association.  This year's honoree was Ms. Barbara Clary of Ownby Auction Inc of Mechanisville, VA.  Ms Clary is the Junior members biggest fan and her support has never waiver.

Junior Members head to California for National Holstein Convention in June

 Junior Members from Virginia will once again compete in the National Holstein Associations youth contest being held in Sacremento, CA in June of 2009.  Juniors will be sending youth to compete in the Junior and Senior Dairy Bowl Contests, Speech Contest, Dairy Jeopardy and will be sending an entry in the scrapbook class.
