Application should be completed in the following order:

 

1.  Picture (either school or snapshot) with applicants name, age, birthdate, address, and phone 

     number below picture.

 

2.  “My Story of Junior Holstein Work” – not to exceed four pages (either typed or handwritten,             

please double space).  You should tell of your work with registered Holsteins, what you do on   your own operation, dairy activities, what activities/events have been most meaningful to you.

 

3.  A Resume of Animals Owned.  Please use enclosed form.

 

4.  Pictures and news clippings about you.  Not to exceed three pages.  Please provide captions to

     the pictures.

 

5.  Management:

            a.  one (1) completed Management Form

b.  a minimum of one (1) page and a maximum of three (3) pages telling of your breeding

     philosophy (bull selection, matings), successful management techniques you are using

     or have used, purchases, selling, cow families developed, etc.

 

 

 

6.  A maximum of three (3) pages of SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS.          List

from the first year to the most recent year, beginning with dairy project work and include           achievements, awards won and offices held.  These are to be the highlights of your career as a Junior Holstein member.  This should include all types of projects and activities… Holstein, school, church, community

1998 – 2nd high individual state 4-H dairy judging contest, selected for state team

1998 – member of 4th place team Pennslyvania All American Invitation 4-H Dairy Judging Contest

1998 – member of 6th place state team national 4-H Dairy Judging Contest
