2018 Annual Meeting

December 2, 2018

allThe Henry Clay Inn in Ashland was the location of this year’s annual meeting. Roger Miller welcomed everyone and committee reports were shared with the group.  The junior members had their membership meeting at the same time.  Then, everyone gathered together to learn more about sharing a positive dairy message on social media.  The presentation was “Opening the Virtual Barn Doors” presented by panelists, LaVaun Janney, Tenille Nuckols and Brittany Jones and moderated by Patty Leonard.

Virginia dairy maids, Hayley Daubert, Rachel and Sarah Craun gave a milk toast. Junior All-Virginia and All-Virginia awards were presented by, Heather Shinn and assisted by Erin Saacke. Logan Potts gave a junior association update. This year’s meritorious service award was presented to FC and Wayne Nuckols of Eastview Farm. The meritorious service award is sponsored by Rilara Holsteins.
